By submitting the application, the company has started a formal permit assessment process, a significant milestone as the company moves forward with its plan to deliver a pioneering green-energy hub for the import, storage and handling of renewable energy products, hydrogen carriers and low-carbon fuels. The next steps of the process will involve the submission of the “Milieueffectrapportage,” (“MER”), which the company anticipates will be filed on or before Jan. 31, 2023, and the phase 1 construction permit.
